Electronic engineer, he got a PhD in Physics of Nanostructures and Advanced materials from the University of the Basque Country. He has been working in the modeling and simulation of charge transport in molecular nanostructures. In AZTI his research activity revolvs around the design of smart sensing solutions based on time-domain reflectometry (TDR) for the assesment of food quality parameters in the context of industry 4.0. As part of his work he develops machine learning models for predictive analysis and software tools for data acquisition, processing and visualization.
