EIT Food RISOLUTIONS
A new program for ambitious teams of students who want to be engage in solving industrial problems
EIT Food RIS Solutions is aimed at engaging students of all educational levels to work jointly on an industrially relevant solutions for a period of 3 months up to one year.
Students from EIT Food RIS countries and having different disciplinary backgrounds will be selected in open call and engaged to work jointly on the problem cases responding to the challenges identified by partners. Students will be supported in their activities by both academics and professionals and present the results of their activities (i.e. a food prototype, a new solution, a business model) in “Food Marathon_Foodhatons”.
Like in a hackaton, the Foodhaton is an event in which students are involved in food solution development processes, which are based on learning-by-doing approach and intensive collaboration between peers. Two Foodhatons will be organized in 2019. The students will also receive coaching and mentoring services about IPR issues.
