Accessibility: Better access for everyone

Accessibility refers to the ability to access information without any limitations whatsoever due to deficiency, disability or handicap. Many people arrive at the information contained on our pages from very different contexts to our own, due to hearing, sight or mobility problems; reading or understanding difficulties; inability to use a keyboard or mouse; they might have a text-only reader, small screen or slow Internet connection.

Accessibility is not of interest only to people the disabled; it also improves access to the web in genera To this end, our accessibility guidelines are as follows:

  • Compliance with the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative)protocol, to at least level AA and part of level AAA. These guidelines are applicable worldwide and are officially recognised as an Internet standard by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
  • Verification of compliance with the aforementioned guidelines through the Web Accessibility Test (TAW). This is a tool promoted by the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in accordance with the Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act.

Scope of our accessibility policy

Unfortunately, some of the contents on our website have limited accessibility and do not attain the level achieved by the rest of the site.

Naturally, we are aware that the accessibility of our website could be improved and we are working to do just that. We invite you to help us in our endeavour by providing comments, complaints or suggestions.
