I have BSc in Biotechnology and an MSc in Microbiology and Health. In 2023, I obtained my PhD from the University of the Basque Country. This PhD was conducted in the Food Quality, Safety and Identity area of AZTI, working on the development and validation of new molecular methodologies for food authentication and origin traceability. Currently, my research combines genomics, microbiology and bioinformatics to develop and validate traceability methods, as well as to identify potential biotechnological applications.
