I work in the development of mathematical modelling of fishery systems and the statistical data analysis of fisheries related data with special interest in bio-economic simulation models which include fishermen behaviour and mixed-fisheries management. In the last years I have I led the development of the bio-economic simulation model FLBEIA. This has motivated me in the application and development of mathematical validation techniques of simulation models such as global sensitivity analysis. Currently, I’m the international coordinator of the northern stock of european hake.
