Climate change is a growing threat to marine organisms and ecosystems that is expected to accelerate during the 21st century.

Temperature rise, ocean acidification and oxygen loss… are causing a suite of organismal and ecosystem responses, from increased mortality and changes in species distributions
and abundances to changes in ocean productivity, coastal habitat loss, alteration of food-web dynamics and impacts on the provision of ecosystem services.

This is a big challenge for survey scientists since knowledge of future scenarios is the basis for defining strategies to adapt to climate change.

During this webinar experts on the effects of climate change in the ocean will use different model-based approaches to study the complex responses of fish populations relative to their environment.
