I have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from UNAL (Universidad Nacional de Colombia), a Master’s degree in Statistics and Operations Research from UPC (Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya), and have completed a bootcamp in Data Science at The Bridge Digital Talent Accelerator.  I have more than ten years of experience in model development and statistical inference and their application in computer software, with a recent focus on statistics, big data, real data and machine learning in health. My current focus is on spectroscopy and the analysis of data from smart sensors in the food industry. This extensive experience has led me to formulate and solve real problems in different application areas, knowing how to choose the most appropriate method and software for each occasion.
