We prevent and reduce food-related risks through innovative solutions, including the biocontrol of pathogens and unwanted bacteria, rapid detection of chemical compounds and microorganisms, and shelf-life and expiration studies.

We help the food industry ensure the safety, authenticity and traceability of its products. We develop DNA-based methods to verify the authenticity and traceability of foods, raw materials and processes, and apply advanced sensor technologies for the continuous monitoring of quality and traceability.

We work to ensure the safety and sustainability of industrial processes by controlling risks and safeguarding food integrity. This ranges from ensuring product compliance through the development of rapid chemical, microbiological and genetic methods to guarantee food authenticity, quality and safety, to the application of food safety technologies such as high hydrostatic pressure processing and phage technology. We provide tools that strengthen consumer trust and help companies meet the most demanding requirements. Our commitment is to support the sector in producing safer, more reliable and more sustainable foods.
