During last week, 16 to 18 November, Young Water Professional Spain 2017 Congress was held, organized by the YWP network with the support of AEAS, IWA, and the Bilbao Bizkaia Water Consortium as host on its 50th anniversary and of the collaborating entity, Universidad del Basque Country (UPV / EHU).

The purpose of the congress is to serve as a platform for professional development for young people dedicated to the water sector, as well as to strengthen the connections of both the business sector and the academic sector. In this context, it has taken place the oral presentation of the paper entitled “LIFE-VERTALIM virtual simulation platform for the control of discharges from the canning industry” by Tamara Fernandez, a researcher at CEIT-IK4.
