Within the framework of the European project LIFE VERTALIM, a group of Basque fish canners, the Bilbao Biscay Water Consortium, URA – Basque Water Agency and AZTI will work together to solve the problems generated by food Controlled way, its wastewater in the urban sanitation system. The initiative, co-financed by the Basque Water Agency (URA), is led by the Bilbao Biscay Water Consortiumand coordinated by AZTI, with the participation ofCeit-IK4, and the canning companies Aguirreoa, Guenaga, Heisa and Marmar.
