BIOSPAIN is one of the leading biotechnology events in Southern Europe, bringing together companies, investors, institutions, research centres and professionals from across the biotechnology ecosystem.
The 2026 edition will take place from 29 September to 1 October at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The programme will combine one-to-one meetings through its partnering platform, conferences on science, innovation and investment, an exhibition area, Talent Day and a range of networking activities.
AZTI is collaborating with BIOSPAIN 2026 and will take part in the event to showcase its capabilities in biotechnology applied to food, health and the blue bioeconomy. These range from precision nutrition, omics technologies and microbiome research to fermentation, bioprocessing, functional ingredients, marine bioactives and the valorisation of bioresources.
The event is aimed at biotechnology companies, investors, start-ups, technology and research centres, universities, public authorities and other organisations interested in creating new opportunities for collaboration, innovation and business in the biotechnology sector.
