KAINDAR is a demonstrator project led by five organisations in Gipuzkoa to design, install and evaluate, under real operating conditions, a new mobile electric charging infrastructure at the Port of Pasaia.

AZTI promotes coastal adaptation to climate change through predictive models and monitoring networks, transforming vulnerability into practical solutions in beaches such as Zarautz and estuaries such as Oka and Bidasoa.

AZTI developed an environmental monitoring system that rigorously assesses the impact of discharges on coastal waters and ecosystems, providing accurate diagnoses and key tools to support sustainable management.

AZTI shows that the Bay of Biscay is a critical hotspot for microplastic accumulation, with levels comparable to those in the Mediterranean, providing key data to inform the design of solutions to tackle marine litter.
