Contribution to the European and International Marine Observation Strategy

We actively contribute to the definition and coordination of the European and international marine observation strategy through networks such as EuroGOOS, ICES, EMODnet and Coriolis.

Problem Addressed

Ocean observation requires transnational coordination. Without a shared strategy, efforts become fragmented, investments are duplicated, and the capacity to generate actionable knowledge to address global challenges—such as climate change, sustainable fisheries or maritime safety—is diminished.
