AZTI has carried out the preliminary calibration of a non-destructive sensor based on NIR spectroscopy, capable of distinguishing blue marlin from other marlin species.

Computer vision for automated monitoring of the freezer tuna fleet

AZTI has developed a computer vision model designed to automate the classification and measurement of the main species caught by large freezer tuna vessels operating in the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean.
