Solutions

At AZTI, we promote the use of microalgae, fungi and bacteria as sources of new ingredients and tools for the food industry. We develop fermentation, hydrolysis and bioproduction processes, as well as biocontrol tools based on microorganisms and phages, to improve safety and quality. We also advance biosensors and rapid methods that enable effective, digitised control in industrial settings.
