Due to the large amount of DNA extracctions required for our population genetics projects, we recently decided to invest in a new equipment for the lab. We aquired the KingFisher Apex System. This will make the work of our lab technicians easier avoiding also potential cross-contaminations. We are now in the process of extracting hundreds of samples of hake which will be soon processed using RAD-seq.
