I did a three-year degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology by the University of the Basque Country. To increase my knowledge about food security and quality techniques I also did a Master’s degree in Food Safety and Quality. My areas of expertise are microbiology, food quality and valorisation of food derived by-products by solid and liquid fermentation.
