Foodhaton is a competition for ambitious students from various countries about new food solutions. Their task is to create a new, innovative product/service with support of experienced mentors from Maspex, University of Warsaw, University of Torino and PAN Institute in Olsztyn. During the finals on 28th of November the students will present their solutions on front of the audience.

Warsaw Foodhaton 2019 in Przestrzeń from Facebook is a great opportunity to meet other people working in the field of new technologies, innovations and zero waste movement.

During the event you will learn how Foodsi was established – one of the biggest startups fighting the food waste as well as how EIT Food is supporting startups and what kind of programmes may be offered for students. You will have a chance to support students from Poland, Slovakia and Turkey who will compete for the prizes of 2.000 euro and 1.000 euro 💸 for the most innovative idea and most attractive presentation.

Together we will watch an eye-opening documentary “Just East it!” – a story about food waste, which will inspire us to have a vivid debate with our experts, i.a. Areta Szpura („How to save the world”), Tomasz Szuba (Venturis) i Federation of Polish Food Banks.
