Contenido: Zostera noltii seagrass is only present in 3 of the 12 estuaries of the Basque coast. Pollution and human pressures upon these estuarine ecosystems, throughout the last two centuries, could be the reason of its decline. Using the Ecological Niche Factor Analysis (ENFA), which allows providing habitat suitability models and maps, the main environmental variables explaining the distribution of Z. noltii within the Oka estuary have been determined.
