Since 2009, I work on coastal video monitoring systems, most of them installed in the Basque coast. I have participated in several projects developing coastal managements tools. Additionally, my research is also focused on coastal processes studies.

We also help our customers to find the needed funding to carry out their R&D&I project in collaboration with AZTI. Our activity market goes from the regional to the international level; therefore, we look for the funding programmes wherever our activity will be performed.

Food integrity and food safety is what fascinates me.
I obtained my PhD at University of Zaragoza (1997) in the field of protein chemistry. Molecular Biology or Chromatographic–based detection technologies are the fields where my scientific passion lies, and with 7 patents and more than 25 peer-reviewed papers I am still active in this field.
Background: Food Safety, Food biotechnology, Biochemistry, Proteomics.
Other competences:
Negotiating with business partners.
Overseeing our extensive research portfolio and supporting a number of priority food quality and safety programs.
Serving as a member of the management board of the Division and contributing to the Technological and Research plan as well as the human resources support.

Since 2005 I have participated in the development and implementation of R & D projects related to the sustainability of the food chain, cleaner production specifically.
