A limited number of grants will be available to facilitate the attendance of members who are from Eastern Europe and other countries where there are financial constraints to travel. Members wishing to seek such assistance must attach a Special Request Form to the Conference Organizers at ecs2007info@azti.net with a copy to the treasurer RLick2059@aol.com) not later than 15th of February 2007. Assistance is generally conditional on a presentation which should be submitted in the usual way (see Call for Papers), but support is not limited to students.
Please use this form also if you need a special invitation for VISA application.
Abstract submission documentation
1. Student award eligibility: if you are eligible for a student award, please delete the inappropriate category. Applicants must send a photocopy of their validated student ID card to Roland Lick along with their membership/registration form(s). If the student is the first author of a multi-authored paper, the other authors or a supervisor must sign a declaration form stating that "we the undersigned affirm that the work presented in this abstract is primarily that of the first (student) author" and also send this to Roland Lick.
2. Student grant: Limited funds are available to provide grants towards travel/subsistence costs for students. If you wish to be considered please delete as appropriate on the Abstract Submission Form. If you are earning a salary you are not eligible. The grants are intended for cases of real hardship. Please think carefully before applying for a grant.
