Call for Papers and Workshops

Abstract submission is closed and you can send your proposal for workshop before January 8th, 2007

A Scientific Committee, chaired by Raul Castro, will arrange for all abstracts to be peer reviewed and authors will be informed whether their presentations are accepted by February 8th, 2007.

All technical proposals for workshops funded by relevant organizations will be considered and included in the programme during the days before and after the Conference.

Please, peer read the instructions in the Abstract Submission Form Abstract Submission Form.

  • Abstracts for presentations : deadline DECEMBER 8th, 2006
  • Workshop proposals : deadline JANUARY 8th, 2007
  • Acceptance information : FEBRUARY 23rd, 2007

Communications, in English, are invited as oral or poster presentations. For both types of presentations, authors have to submit an abstract by e-mail (at: ecs2007abstract@azti.net following the Abstract Submission Form Abstract Submission Form).

Each oral presentation will last 15 minutes, followed by five minutes for questions and discussion. A Scientific Committee, chaired by Raul Castro, will arrange for all abstracts to be peer reviewed and authors will be informed whether their presentations are accepted by February 8th, 2007.

For poster presentations, authors are invited to prepare one Power Point slide to be displayed by the oral session chairs. It must include authors, title, poster number and a brief summary of their work. Please do not include too many words and make it visually clear and appealing.

Only the first author may present a paper and fix a poster. The poster first author MUST register for the conference before the on-site registration. In case the first author is not registered, the abstract will be redrawn from the programme. The first author may name a co-author as a substitute by writing in advance to the organizers. The substitute must be registered for the conference and may only serve once in absentia (i.e. for one poster only).
